Rumptse Boght

FRUIT FLAVOURED GIN & A KNIGHT TO REMEMBER

CHALLENGE

Create a label, brand and back story for a local Dutch fruit flavoured gin

IDEA

* In 1200 (before the police had been invented) a Knight was charged with protecting the ancient village of Rumpt.
He used his lance to see off all those who would seek to invade the Royal realm. And when he wasn’t using his lance for jousting with his enemies,
he used it to ‘spear’ the ripest, lushest fruit from branches far out of reach of lowly peasants.

But he soon had so much fruit, he didn’t know what to do with it until his servant humbly suggested combining the finest blackberries, cherries and honey to create a drink so delightful, even Genghis Khan got to hear about it.

Fortunately for our Knight and his wonderful elixr, Rumpt was a little too far to travel for Genghis so the recipe and the drink have survived to this day.

*Some or none of this may be true.
