Together with Google, Kramp (Europe’s largest Agricultural spare parts specialist) has developed a remarkable new App. Our task was to position it in the market, to raise awareness and stimulate adoption & downloads (amongst farmers and dealers). And all before a huge trade and press launch at last year’s AgriTechnica – which was just 8 weeks away at the time.
Our strategic insight was that farmers spent a large part of their time waiting. Waiting for the weather to change, waiting for the soil to be ready for planting, waiting for crops to grow, waiting for the price of those crops to rise, waiting for cows to calve or sheep to lamb etc. But, thanks to the Kramp App, there was no longer a need to wait for spare parts…and therefore no need to wait days for machinery to be up & running again. Like much of our work, we tailor the production scope to what’s practically achievable within the time and budget available. We worked closely with the Google developers to animate screenshots and bring the App to life even with demo beta versions. It was rolled out in local language versions across 12 European markets.
